“See All Your Best Work Go Unnoticed” (Motto of the MI5)

May 14th (through the 17th), 2009 may seem like just another day, but for people with their hand on the pulse of the world government, finances, and politics, it was the start of the annual, 3-day, Bilderberg Group meetings. Bilderberg Group? A group of 133 of the most influential (and elite) bankers, royalty, and industry, that meets once a year in complete secrecy (when I say complete, people were arrested, up to, 2 ½ miles away from their hotel who were taking pictures in the general direction of their hotel). What goes on in these meetings? Nobody knows for sure, but moles and leaks speak of, these elite, mapping out the world’s future. The once a year meetings, allegedly, map the upcoming year and, many believe, the long-term destiny of the world. What is that destiny? Who attends? Can they really control the world? The real question, how will America be affected?
The Bilderberg Group has been meeting in secret for over 50 years, but only in the past 20 years have people started to realize and comprehend the amount of power that gathered each year. The secrecy is what creates the stigma and creates the aura of conspiracy. I understand as soon as a person says conspiracy. I understand as soon as a person says conspiracy, people either believe (with a little help) or they write a person off (I do not want you to write me off), there is no gray area. I am not here to prove either side, but to give you information for you to formulate your own opinion (I tried to use neutral information, nothing one-sided, just public record) of what the Bilderberg Group is, but more importantly who attends these secret meetings, and the names might surprise you (considering that none of the information is ever made public).
As I stated, I am not here to prove conspiracy or not, but I am very interested in your thoughts. What do you think when you read about the secrecy? When there are never minutes of these meetings released? Why there is no media allowed anywhere near the building, or why the list of members and attendees are not public record? Does this make you feel good or does evil lurk in the shadows? It is your call. I am anxious to hear your thoughts?
This is Bilderberg Group in a nutshell:
Secrecy is of the greatest importance, if you violate this you will be removed forever. The members are mainly conservatives, market liberals, and a few socialists that “understand money.” It was founded to head off anti-Americanism, and to stop the advancement of Communism in Western Europe. The Bilderberg Group consensus is that, “national problems are best solved by the internationally, oriented elite, that a global network of decision-makers should have a common language, and that the boundaries are fluid between the moneyed and the political classes.” That is a pretty bold statement, but by the looks of it, it is absolutely true. What do you think?
One of the most interesting, and one of the only quotes I could find, from an actual Bilderberg Group member, is from Denis Healey, one of the founders and very outspoken. The former Labor Chancellor said, “To say we were striving for a one-world government, is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair. Those of us in Bilderberg felt we couldn’t go on forever fighting one another for nothing. So we felt that a single community throughout the world would be a good thing.” Do any of you have any thoughts on this statement?
Now that you have a taste of their insight, their mentality, and the understanding of what the Bilderberg Group is (at least of what is public knowledge), let’s start to ask questions and look at the member s (attendees) and what they have been linked to.
The European Union (EU) was, allegedly, thought of, and brought to life by this group. They had enough power to unite countries into one union. Pretty impressive, but, according to 2009 reports (by the moles inside), morale is down due to the failure of the Lisbon Treaty being ratified by all 27 member states, in time for the 2010 elections. What is the Lisbon Treaty? The Lisbon Treaty would, essentially, strip all European countries of their sovereignty, which will happen with the passage of the Lisbon Treaty. Essentially, the European Union was designed for the Lisbon Treaty, according to some theorists. Here is a question, how would you feel, as an American, if a group of people created a document, and this said document could override the Constitution and all of our laws? Hint here, the North American Union (NAU/ sister to EU) is already being designed, and guaranteed, we will have a sister treaty to that of the Lisbon Treaty. Just food for thought, but look-up the NAU and express your thoughts on this new lay of the land. Oh, and Europeans can thank Ireland for shooting the treaty down, but the Bilderberg Group is determined to get it passed and there is an executive meeting set-up to override Ireland’s denial. Can you see and feel the type of power that meets behind closed doors?
This is all just information that is there for your reading pleasure, there could be good going on there, for all I know, but I will leave you with a quote and a list of names who attended 2009’s meeting. The meeting was held in Greece, and the bishop of Piraeus, Metropolitan Seraphim, said this of the Bilderberg Group, “(Bilderberg Group) a criminal cabal (group promoting their private views) of world Zionism and its efforts to set up a cruel world dictatorship under the headship of Lucifer.” These are pretty heavy worlds from a bishop, about a society that, technically, does not exist. Do you have any thoughts on the bishop’s quote?

5. Richard Holbrooke (Obama’s Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan)
6. James Jones (National Security Advisor to the White House)
7. Robert Kagan (Leader/Historian of the Neoconservative movement)
8. Henry Kissinger (Name speaks for itself)
Just to name a few. There are queens, heads of state, and many CEOs of banks, oil companies, and major manufacturers. I hope you have information and have questions or ideas to share…

Can Slim Shady Influence People With Relapse?

I was hoping for a few ideas to show up in the comment section, but I wasn’t so lucky, but the one comment I did receive was from SlimShady702, which got me thinking. So today, while going to the rehabilitation doctor and listening to the new Eminem album on my iPod, I had a thought and am interested in your thoughts on this idea.

We all know celebrities influence popular culture, with how they dress, what they drive, and how they live, but can celebrities, such as Marshall Mathers/Slim Shady/Eminem, help shine a light on serious issues as well as they do the sales of high end clothes, watches, and cars?

Take for example, Angelina Jolie, who had a very public pregnancy, and due to the risks and excess use of drugs and instruments to induce labor, announced she would be using a mid-wife, instead of a OB/GYN, and have her baby at home (or in the comforts of a home in another country), instead of in a hospital, would other women look into this as well? Would these women start researching home births, the mortality rates of home birth versus hospitals, and truly weigh their options?

Take that line of thinking and apply it to this, Eminem went on a 4 year hiatus from the rap game to deal with family issues (divorce from his wife Kim), the murder of his best friend Proof (member of D12 and lifelong friend), and his, highly publicized, addiction to prescription drugs. On Eminem’s latest album, he dives deep into his battles, the risks, and the lifestyle of an addict. From the very start of the album, the “Dr. West skit,” he dreams of his rehabilitation counselor morphing into an “addiction demon,” who is always trying to get Marshall to come back to his beloved drugs and alcohol. This is a great metaphor for addiction. Once an addict, always an addict, you have to work on staying sober and clean, that is why Alcoholics Anonymous’ motto is “One Day At A Time.” You truly do live life one day at a time and fight relapse everyday.

Shady, who is the second all-time, behind Tupac, in total record sales by a rap/hip-hop artist, has a tremendous influence on pop culture and I believe he has the ability to shine a huge light on what life will become if you continue to abuse prescription drugs like Vicodin, Ambien C.R., Lunesta, and even, OTC, NyQuil. Shady speaks very vividly of drug addiction, almost a “Scared Straight” show, only with lyrics and beats instead of prisons and inmates. On songs such as “My Darling (Deluxe Edition), “Careful What You Wish For (Deluxe Edition), “Dr. West Skit,” “Underground,” and “Hello” he describes how an addict feels, seeks, and chases that next high. But can these tales open the eyes of the youth and/or adults to show them that addiction will ruin your life, even if you are absurdly rich?

As a person who is currently going through the process of getting off of pain medication, I can attest, Shady holds nothing back in his accurate descriptions of how addiction progresses, and the end result is either cleaning up or losing everything, including your life. All this pain, suffering, and heartache just to chase that ever-elusive “ride on the magic carpet.” In a candid interview with XXL Magazine, Mathers described the exact moment he realized he was an addict, and we all know exactly when we figured out we were addicted to something, if you have ever been addicted to anything before. He stated that after shows, at the after parties, people always had different drugs and since he was the guest of honor, he never paid for any of these recreational drugs. He would enjoy his night and than go home. He would be sober for a while and then another show and the process would repeat. Then he went on a massive tour, and almost every night there would be an after party, with a few off days in between some shows. On those off days, he realized he wanted to get high, and started sending his staff out to get his drugs of choice (Ambien to sleep, Vicodin to make his problems go away, etc). When he started paying for it, he realized he was an addict.

Once he started seeking out drugs, it was no longer recreational. It was no longer to just have a good time. Now it was full blown addiction. Marshall said something that I hope all the people who are reading this, or have read the XXL article, that are addicts and listen to the lyrics of his songs is, “You have to want to get clean, if not, you will relapse.” Say what you will about Eminem, but there are some deep songs (If you listen, and/or understand addiction) on the Relapse album, and add that with his crazy flows, you have the best album of the year. Yet, maybe along with the platinum records, Shady will help open the eyes of an addict and give that person a soundtrack to their recovery. As they go through all the withdrawal process and the learning to fight the demons of addiction, they can put on his album and know that they are not alone…

I will end with this. There is a song on Relapse called “Beautiful” (with a sampling of the Paul Rodgers, of Queen, song “Reaching Out”) and it is an awesome life song, and if you are an addict (or know someone who is and want to help them), are recovering from addiction, or are a long time friend of Bill W. (Founder of A.A.) and the 12 steps, this song hits your heart, mind, and soul. We are all beautiful, and do not let anyone tell you other wise…

This is a new blog that will open conversation and is open to hearing what you have to say. I will be sharing ideas and thoughts, and I hope you will open up and share your thoughts...large or small. There are no topics out of bounds and no one should be silenced for their beliefs. I just ask that we have respect for each other, and be willing to agree to disagree.
